Sculptures
Established in 1992, Wise Design Sculptures and Features has created over 100 individually inspired pieces in our workshop at Mt Glorious, Queensland.
Our attention to detail and love for Australian Wildlife allowes us to produce sculptures that are museum referenced and 95% anatomically correct. Sculptures of a more creative nature are designed and inspired by the peace and tranquility of the rainforest.
These sculptures are made from a range of materials to suit the piece's function.
Fibreglass:
These sculptures are made from fibreglass and most contain sturdy, steel armatures to assist in durability and strength. They are painted with in either oil paint or waterproof, marine paints.
Cold Cast Bronze..
is a mix of actual ground up bronze pieces and clear resin.
This gives a bronze like effect at a cost effective price and reasonable weight.
The green effect on some of the cold cast bronze sculptures is made by painting on a special mix to create an antique effect and adds colour and texture to the piece.
Concrete:
These sculptures are made to withstand the nature's elements and to be durable. Light weight concrete is also available by mixing a special formular to allow easy shipping without compromising durability and quality.
